Magnetic Sensor

Essentially a compass, this test allows you to see if the device can accurately tell direction. Rotate the device in a circle to activate its edges. Sometimes this test requires calibration, so if it seems unresponsive first try to move the device in a standard compass calibration pattern:

Pass: The circle’s edges are entirely activated.

Fail: The arrow does not rotate consistently as you rotate the device, and you fail to complete the circle even after calibration.
