Speaker Test
Last updated on Aug 14, 20241 min readThe goal of this test is to evaluate the sound emission capabilities of the device. There are 2 versions of this test. The Automatic test can quickly check if the speakers are functioning or not, but it does not account for the sound quality. It does this by playing audio through the speakers, and listening back with the microphone. Make sure all speakers are set to maximum volume for this test, to ensure it is heard by the microphone.
Pass: All speakers successfully play back the test sounds.
Fail: 1 or more speakers do not emit any audio.
The Manual test allows you to listen back to testing audio so that you can precisely evaluate sound quality. Press the play button to begin to hear audio, make sure the device’s volume is turned up. The pass and fail buttons then appear, ready for you to choose.
Pass (Manual): All speakers emit clear sound, and you mark them all as “Pass”
Fail (Manual): At least 1 speaker does not emit clear sound, and you have marked it as “Fail”
